    Instant reaction: Beyond beautiful pen and I’m so happy that I went with the EP1L. I was debating on which model would be best for me between the EP1 and the EP1L, I was going to choose the EP1 for the price and because my hands are on the smaller side. My thinking was, what’s another inch or so? If you’re on the fence like I was definitely go for the EP1L unless you absolute need a smaller pen for EDC storage. I’d argue that the EP1L is already on the smaller side.

    I purchased the EP1 in stonewashed titanium about a month ago. Like others the bolt was stiff at first, but has worn in nicely. As an underground miner I was looking for something that could withstand my work environment without constantly breaking or rupturing upon decent in the shaft. I hated constantly going through disposable pens and creating more useless plastic garbage. I absolutely love the rugged durability of the pen so far, so much so that I bought another for around the house to completely replace any disposables. Couldn’t be happier, thank you Refyne!
